Working the greener way.

Digital services, solar power and native tree planting. Practical choices to reduce our environmental impact.

Our net-zero carbon commitment.

Working The Greener Way Online LLP is committed to reducing its environmental impact. Digital services, renewable electricity and native tree planting are central to our approach.

Our net-zero ambition reflects the aims of the Paris Agreement: keeping global warming well below 2°C above pre-industrial levels and pursuing efforts to limit it to 1.5°C.

Digital working. Solar power. Native trees.

Primarily digital services

WGW offers primarily digital services to our clients, with onsite services at the client’s request. Reducing journeys helps us reduce the emissions associated with delivering our work.

Solar-powered office

We have used EcoFlow DELTA Pro Solar Power Stations since 1 August 2022 to generate and store solar electricity for our office.

Native tree planting

Our farm tree-planting scheme uses native species in a reforestation project. It forms part of our long-term approach to supporting carbon removal and the local environment.

We continuously monitor greenhouse gas emissions created by our business to inform the choices we make.

Reduce emissions first.

A commitment to net-zero carbon means reducing emissions as far as possible, then balancing residual emissions with carbon removals. Reducing emissions and offsetting them are different actions.

For WGW, the practical starting point is the way we deliver our services and power our office. Digital working reduces the need for travel, while solar power supports our use of renewable electricity.

Tree planting contributes over time. Measuring emissions and the effect of reduction and removal activities is essential to understanding progress.

EcoFlow’s power stations are part of the way we generate, store and use renewable electricity for our office.

EcoFlow DELTA Pro ecosystem wins Red Dot Design Award.

In its March 2022 announcement, EcoFlow reported that the DELTA Pro and its ecosystem accessories had received a Red Dot award in the Product Design category. The release described an integrated approach to generating, storing and using power, and recalled the DELTA Pro’s inclusion in TIME’s Best Inventions of 2021.

This is the historical announcement referenced in WGW’s original sustainability statement.
